How Our Personal Supports Program Will Work
Curis Health Management is developing a provider-managed Personal Supports program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Maryland.
Under this approach, Curis will be responsible for coordinating services, managing staff schedules, providing appropriate training and supervision, and maintaining communication with individuals and their support teams.
Our goal is to make receiving support a positive, dependable, and individualized experience.
What Participants Can Expect
- Individualized Support: Services designed around each person's needs, preferences, and approved Person-Centered Plan.
- Dependable Professionals: Direct Support Professionals who receive appropriate screening, training, and ongoing supervision.
- Collaborative Planning: Communication with participants, their chosen support networks, and Coordinators of Community Services.
- Consistent Oversight: Staff coordination, supervision, and quality assurance managed by Curis.
- Respect for Personal Choice: An approach that encourages individuals to make decisions and remain actively involved in directing their everyday lives.
Curis is currently pursuing DDA approval for this program. Services will become available only after all applicable approvals and authorizations are obtained.
